Ok this entry is for Hezzer ^_^

This is about the Chinese New Year, so u can get to know about it more ( if u dunno, gotta learn from each other once in awhile u know ^_^b )

Well, the Chinese New Year falls on the 9th of February, I think it's because the chinese calender is one month later than the english calender, as in when it's January, it's December on the chinese calender, aye ? :D

Next, we wear very bright colours due to superstition and stuff,
Colours like red, orange, these are most liked by them adults :P

There's a story for all these too, a story of why ppl like to wear red during the new year ( chinese ) and stuff :

Once there was some Monster, and it was called " Nian " ( It's called Nian right, guys ? Correct me if I'm wrong k ? )
It attacked and killed alot of people, and everyone was afraid of it.
Everytime it came, everyone went into hiding, not daring to come out until it went back to where it came from ( I think it was the mountains or something x_x" )

One day, the Nian attacked again.
By accident, someone created a loud sound by dropping something ( or something like that @_@" )
And the Nian was frightened off.

Everyone was shocked.
So the Nian was afraid of loud noises :D

Not only that, they noticed that the Nian doesn't like the colour red,
so they started using what it hated against it ^_^b

Everytime the Nian approached, the villagers gathered and created alot of sounds and used alot of red stuff ( erm .. I think so .. the red stuff thingy is unclear @_@" )

So somehow that is stuck with the new year :P

The reason why people give children red packets I'm not so sure .. If u guys know about it plz post it as a comment or post it on the tagboard or something k ?

But only married people can give red packets, and you're supposed to give 2 oranges to the adult as a sign of respect, and u get a red packet :D

I'm not really sure of many things, like H2O said, I dunno everything ^_^"

Oh ya I think I'm gonna fail my most recent POA test :/
I didn't study for it and stuff, was in a holiday mood that day and so I didn't study and got a huge shock during the test.

What was the worst thing was that my teacher walked up to me and asked me :" So, r u gonna get full marks again ? ^_^ "

She wasn't being sarcastic or anything, cause I got full marks or nearly full marks all the time and now I feel so terrible that I've disappointed her and myself :/

Oh well .. BUCK UP !

Oh ya, on my way back from my gran's house, I was imagining myself all grown up and stuff, wearing a suit and secretly using msn in my office =x

I was married and had 2 children, 1 guy 1 girl x_x"

( Dun ask me why I have such a creative imagination. It's fun )

And I was being myself, signing in on msn during office hours is something I'd most likely do when I grow up, too ^_^"

And I saw my kid online ( the girl ) and she messaged me

Daughter :" Erm, dad, ur doing it again aren't you "
Me :" Wow, so obvious huh ^_^" "
Daughter :" lol dad, why do u like to use those faces so much ? "
Me :" Dunno, it's a habit by now, used it for years, long before you were born XD "
Daughter :" And there's another one x_x "
Me :" AHA, ur finally using'em faces :D "
Daughter :" ^_^" dad .."
Me :" Oh shit someone's coming, I'd better close the window for now. Love you, bye !

And damn, was it a good dream, I was living in a big house and darn was it big.
It was like, WHOA , BIG.

That kinda big.
IT WAS SUCH A BIG AND BEAUTIFUL HOUSE @_@

I didn't get to see how my son or wife looked like though, and I can't remember what I or my daughter looked like, either.

What I remembered most clearly was that I lived in a great house,
and my daughter was wearing an oversized red shirt and some baggy jeans
